Charlottesville Piano Teacher
Rebecca Reilly, offering Music, Math, and More
Tailored to meet each Student's needs
Rebecca Reilly's passion for music began early, watching her older sister learn to play and perform Chopin Nocturnes. She learned to read music at the age of 4, and started lessons soon after. As a music student, she was recognized in the National Guild of Piano Teachers publication for programs put together with her teacher.
Aside from a focus in piano, Becca has studied and performed on several woodwind and percussion instruments. She has worked in varied ensemble settings, from duets, concert and marching bands, to African Music and Dance ensembles. Current and former students of Becca's have performed in recitals, concert bands, school competitions, jazz ensembles, and multiple other opportunities throughout the area.
Becca graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in music and a M.T. in Elementary Education. In the years between 2007 and 2014, Becca taught 6th grade math for the Albemarle County Public School system where she gained invaluable experience teaching students of all backgrounds. Teaching students with special needs, as well as students who are learning English as a second language, have both become great passions of hers. With more than 10 years of piano teaching experience, Rebecca Reilly is a teacher who is dedicated to her relationships with her students and their families.
